Sophia was part of this research paper by Cassandra Carraher about actors working abroad, including the challenges and benefits to being international! Also featured here are Timothée Chalamet and Song Kang-ho! Carraher also recently completed her internship at Breakdown Services/Actors Access. She currently studies at UCLA for her Bachelor of Arts in the Music Industry program.

She will be a fellow for the Mongolian Field School working with wild horses in Hustai National Park in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia!
This will be followed by her artistic residency with Trinacria Theatre Company in Catania, Sicily, Italy acting in the Trinacria Arts Festival for the weekend of August 30!
This Mongolian opportunity has been possible by her connections to the United Nations through her solo show (set to premiere in May 2025!), activism, and being Kalmyk-Mongolian & Italian.
Sophia will return to NYC in September.
Sophia will be performing poetry and educating the audience on the history of the indigenous-Kalmyk-Mongolian genocide in the New York Arab Festival

Sophia was honored to host the Hot Pink Carpet for the nonprofit, Glamour Gals’ Leadership Training Institute. She has been involved with Glamour Gals since she was in high school herself! She had a blast interviewing creative change makers like Loretta Lynch, (former US Attorney General under the Obama administration) and current volunteers. This nonprofit helps end elderly loneliness by bridging the gap between generations of high school/college students and senior citizens through volunteerism in the form of manicures and makeovers!
Sophia’s mixed media collage “2020; I’m so woke, I’m tired” won the 1st Salamander International Art Award in Paris, France at the Monteoliveto Gallery and is currently in the “Dream” exhibit in Naples, Italy for sale.
Sophia will be modeling for New York Fashion Week in “Mission Maximalist: Destroy Fast Fashion”
